Louisa Mitchell conducts social policy research and works with a range of organisations including NGOs, think tanks, academic institutions, corporates and multilaterals.
Her opinion-editorials are often published in The South China Morning Post newspaper in Hong Kong and she would like to write more features and editorials on social policy issues in Asia for a variety of publications.
She loves to write and has a fierce belief in equality of opportunity for all. She also believes research and evidence are critical components of policy debate and change. These are the motivating factors behind her multi-functional role.
She is available for qualitative and quantitative social policy research projects in Asia, with a particular focus on issues relating to disability, special education and women. She hopes to add ethnic minorities to her expertise in future. She is also available for written commentary and to present her work at conferences and events.
