A report into the state and future of British philanthropy led by professionals in the City. It comprised case studies of philanthropic individuals informed by depth interviews and a detailed review of the policy environment for philanthropy in the UK. The report was designed to stimulate high-earning City professionals to embark on a philanthropic journey and to provide government and policy makers with recommendations for reform to encourage a new wave of philanthropists from the City, akin to the leading industrialists who became the much lauded Victorian philanthropists of the nineteenth century.
